After almost two weeks of discussion on social media the maxi Cosi Euro A2 child restraint is to be recalled after parents found the straps of the model could dangerously loosen while driving.
RAA spokeswoman Belinda Maloney said the safety flaw in the A2 model could allow a child to be ejected from the seat.

Thankfully someone(usually mum) sees sense and comes and get the car-seat installation checked out by a professional child restraint technician.
Unfortunately this is just the tip of the iceberg and there are many many more car-seats installed incorrectly by parents who want to save a few dollars, and do not take the opportunity to get the child restraint at the point of purchase and 30 minutes of their time. The risk is too great, not to get your child restraint fitted correctly
