BABYBJORN Baby Carrier Active is a sturdy baby carrier, designed to carry heavier children for longer. The comfortable lumbar support and the wide, padded shoulder straps provides an even weight distribution. The baby carrier provides excellent support for your little child’s back and head, making sure his/her legs and arms are in a physiologically correct position. When your child is a little older, the neck-rest can be folded down so the child can face forwards and look around.

From newborn (at least 3.5 kgs/8 lbs and 53 cms/21 ins) up to 12 kgs/26 lbs. Approved in accordance with the Oeko-Tex Standard 100, class 1. Machine-wash at 40˚C. Wash separately. Use a gentle, bleach-free detergent.

Pros: The back support really works; carrier is very easy to adjust, so my husband & I are able to easily swap. The back support really comes in handy when your baby starts to get heavier. It is easy to use and adjust and when it comes time to share the burden, swapping over from one partner tot he other is very easy. When it comes time to do the shopping, then the active carrier comes into its own and allows you to push the trolley around easily (so no excuse for hubby not wanting to bub to bunnings). We have found the Baby Bjorn Active carrier reliable and very supportive on your back, and even when bubs is a little older bubs will still fit in allowing hubby to carry bubs.

Cons: like everything, some may find the cost a little pricey, but you only get what you pay for, plus you can wait util is is on sale somewhere. The baby Bjorn is value for money considering the length of time you can use the active carrier, and for thise who find thelier lower back gets tired quickly, then they may find the support offered by the baby bjorn to be worth the cost alone. Initially you may find it hard to gets bubs in and out but after time you do get used to the technique

Overall: It’s very easy to adjust the different straps to make it comfy to carry around bubs. It is one of those baby products that does not let you down and you do get loads of use out of it. It may be initially a bit pricey but you will get a lot of use out of it
